There is nothing like a fresh baked cookie right out of the oven. I usually make a big batch, but I'd rather bake them in smaller amounts over the course of a few weeks. Can I store my leftover cookie dough in the fridge/freezer in an airtight container? How long will it stay fresh?

Yes, it will stay fresh in the refrigerator for about a week, or in the freezer for several months.

The cookie dough will keep for about 3-4 days in the fridge. It will keep for a few months in the freezer if you wrap it up tight so as it won't become freezer burnt.

You can put it in either. The fridge won't keep it as long as the freezer but it will be good for 2-3 weeks.Make a BIG batch and enjoy a nice hot cookie whenever you feel the need to have one.
You can prob keep it in the freezer for several months!!
