DO not get them a toaster. They will probably get more than enough house hold items and that is not personal. Are you and your brother close? It should be something personal from you. Even if it is just money that is better than a toaster. A toaster is a dumb idea. I wouldnt want a toaster from my sister, if that is what she got me I'd assume she was mad at me or playing a joke on me. I'd say around $100 is acceptable. If you have more to spend then give them a bit more, I don't know your budget. If you have a decent amount of money then you should maybe buy them a night in a nice hotel. I don't know what they are doing for their honey moon. Or you could rent them a limo if they aren't having a big wedding or expensive stuff. You know think about what they might like. Maybe a romantic dinner. Find out where they are going for their honey moon find out what places there are around their hotel to eat and get them a gift certificate for a nice dinner you can spend around $100 or more on that cuz the dinner will cost that much at a nice place. Hope this helps.

The gift you select should be based on your relationship with the recipient and your budget. The amount some might find generous, others may find cheap. Give from the heart and you'll never go wrong. (And, you do not have to give money. Selecting a gift and sending it to the home of the bride before the wedding is an appropriate choice).

Instead of giving them money why don't you buy them something they can do together. Like tickets to a show or event. You can also look for something near where they are going on their honeymoon. For example if they are going to be in a hotel that dose couples massages or spa get them a night of that. It's not about the money it's more about the thought behind it. I am sure your brother and his fiance will appreciate anything.

Instead of giving them money why not buy a house hold item like a toaster. You can get most household items at a reasonable price and then just make a scrapbook for them.
Money doesn't have any meaning, you should give them something useful and that shows your love.

I would say no more than $100 if you can afford it but no less then $50. Put yourself in your brothers shoes. How much do you expect from family if you were getting married.

It depends on how much you make. Think too when you get married if you get him a nice gift then the favor will be returned.

Whatever you can afford to give will be fine. Are they registered anywhere? Something off of their registry or a gift card to the store would also be nice.
