The economy ones are no bargain. They burn out too quickly.

Regular light bulbs have good value.

The 5 year ones are worth the money if you have a fixture that is particularly difficult to change

Actually the cheapest are the expensive compact fluorescent bulbs. They cost so much less to run it more than makes up for the initial cost. As a bonus, you're reducing global warming.
