Do we really want them in the military...???

I've never heard of any such question being put to the president
but that may be because the issue just wasn't considered relevant compared to everything else going on. Besides, in a country where military service is ones personal choice, wouldn't
such a question be better presented to the daughters in question
rather than to their father?

They were!!!They were in the special forces and did work under cover. Their last assignment was in North Korea and they were able to warn the Bush administration that the North Koreans were on the verge of testing some nuclear weapons. They both were awarded bonuses and an honorable discharge. Speaking of discharges, I bet a bunch of the Neo-cons that participate on this web site would like to discharge all over you. Comprendo?

Maybe they are not in the military because it is an all volunteer force. Nobody has to join if they do not think they would make a good soldier/sailor/marine/airman. I joined the Marines because I thought I was suited for it, the military is not for everyone.

This argument is a tired rehash from the old Vietnam playbook. Liberals have become predictable and boring

In the United States, the military is voluntary. Having his daughters in the military would put all of our soldiers at risk. It would be very dangerous for everyone. Come on, think about it.

Well, let's see....because it's an all volunteer army and Bush's daughters haven't volunteered? That could be the reason. It's really not that hard to figure out.
