I have been having trouble staying asleep since I have moved into my boyfriens house. It is a city and I am used to being out in the suburbs. I have tried almost everything. I don't know if I should go back to where I feel more comfortable or try this whole city thing out?

Move back to the suburb and hope he comes to ,move to a quite place in the city, try all the methods in the book, or sleeping pills.

There are white noise makers or machines that make noise that can cover the offending noise. Sharper Image, in my opinion sells the best one, as I have tested the one by them and Brookstone. I like the one with the two speakers as you can make the volume as loud as you want, whereas the others still are quite low in my opinion. I am noise sensitive.

If you are sleeping in the bed with him that may be your answer there. It takes a bit to adjust to sleeping with another person in the same bed. Also, noise is another issue.
