Subscribe the the Match Show Bulletin. They have a listing of all the AKC match shows. For "fun matches", you have to contact local kennel and training clubs.

Match shows (no championship points) will normally be on a local bases, or state bases.
Many states will put out a list of fun matches that are avalible from the local clubs.

Go to your local kennel club or training school, they should know about any upcoming matches. Have you been to some handling classes? The people there should know. If not, go to a few to learn the basics.
