A cure literally is oblivion of the condition. No, there is no cure for migraine. Some people here write about "migraines" that go away with Tylenol or Advil or Excedrin. Those are hardly migraines, if at all, worth mentioning. I get pain that makes me wish I were dead. There are abortive treatments, meaning a treatment you take at the onset of a migraine when you have one, and prophylactic treatments, meaning a medication you take daily to prevent migraines or make them easier when they hit you. Abortive treatments are mainly the Tryptan group (Imitrex, Relpax, etc..) or narcotics, or Dihydroergoatmine medication. It is not good to take them more than once a week, so when your migraines are more frequent, you are put on a prophylactic. Prophylactics could be anti-depressants, anti-seizure, or anti high blood pressure medication. Many prophylactics do a good job at helping control migraine but they have sometimes (at least to some people) intolerable side effects. Something tells me you know a bit about this and you're asking in jest. For more info, and if you don't know it, the national headache foundation is a great resource and source of support.

Their isn't a cure, but I suggest you ask your doctor to refer you to a neurologist. I had lots of problems with migraines, I've tired at least 7 different medications. Right now I'm on a low does of Cymbalta. Although it's an ant-depressant, in low doses they're used for migraines. If you are prescribed a low dose of and anti-depressant, watch you're mood. One actually made me depressed. Once I realized it was the cause, I stopped taking it and I felt better in a couple of days. (I forget what it was called now.) As for quick reliefs, I prefer Tylenol, as does my neurologist. You can ask you're neurologist for a special pill for bad migraines (Unable to get up, throwing up. Or as my doctor put it, migrainees from a scale to 1-10, having a 7 or higher migrain) that will help.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information
