Falling short in my faith. Not living by the model that Jesus lived. Failing to have compassion for others. Becoming selfish and forgetting the most important part of what Jesus taught, treating others in the manner that you wish to be treated yourself. Loosing sight of what I profess to believe.

I can care less what anyone else thinks of me but what a Holy God will think of me scares me most.

Not knowing for sure if we will in deed make the cut when the Rapture comes. Some think they can get into heaven on good deeds alone or by being a good person but you need to accept Christ and do all your works for him. If you are able to center everything you say and do around Christ - then you have nothing to fear.

In this mortal world and in the mortal flesh Christians are just as suseptable to the fears of the world as any one else...We do not fear"death" as so many non-believers do... but we are as fearful as any other about the process of ending this mortal life... the lingering and pain and such... but we know God will give us the strength to endre... Personaly, I am fearful about snakes, sharks, and two legged monsters who roam the streets prowling and attacking others for pleasure...

Matthew 10:28 "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body and soul in hell."

? scare ?

Well, maybe that is not quite the right word.

But it is a very solemn thought of all those who reject He Who is the Way, the Truth, the Life; many who joke and ridicule about their future destiny; those who scorn Christ and assail His ways.
