Lots...

My PC is my main Bible - I carry a notebook to worship. I have about 40 translations available on it along with Hebrew and Greek. The version I usually use here is the NIrV, New International Readers' Version. It is translated at less than 3rd grade reading level, so those with limited English reading skills can understand it. I am a New Testament translator and have used mostly Greek for New Testament study for almost 25 years.

I have a bound Greek New Testament, the version is called NA27. It is the most recent edition and its "apparatus" has been updated. The apparatus contains information about textual variations and identifies which text have varying readings. That is not in my PC version so I carry that book to have it. [Places like the end of Mark 16 where many English bibles have notes like, "The most reliable early manuscripts and other ancient witnesses do not have Mark 16:9-20." I am able to know WHICH manuscripts have a particular reading.]

I have 1 KJV, 1 NKJV Study Bible, 2 NIV Study Bibles, a Pocket New Testament and Psalms NASV. My NKJV is my favorite - it's underlined and highlighted and broken in just right. There's nothing like an old, worn used-everyday Bible. I love it!!
God Bless!

There was a time I owned the KJV, Amplified, Living, and the NIV.

I gave most of them away after getting the Internet because the blueletterbible.org has lots of different translations and it is much easier for me to just go there.

Good question.

This is a very sensitive topic...some people believe only on KJV, some use others use other new translations. I only read KJV...here is my argument....KJV was written when english was in its perfect form. Its the closest thing we have to hebrew and greek...actually we should study those languages. Other translations- ASV, NIV, etc...leave out a lot of important things...words like Christ, etc...believe it!! I recommend only KJV but im not judging anyone who reads the other crap!!
