Would you let your 14 year old daughter go to her homecoming with her freinds! She is in the 9th grade!! Or would you make her go with a parent?

Time to start giving a little freedom! It's a school event. It is also one of the biggest events of the year. I would let your teen know that you have your resevations about letting her go alone with friends but you know that it is a big deal for her. So, you are going to trust her this time and you expect her to be responsible. But yes. Definitely, let her go! Would you want to go to the homecoming game with your parent?

When I was 14, my sister took me to the homecoming game, since she was 16 and had a car. But as far as letting my 14 year old daughter go to a game without me or her dad, not in today's society with all the pedophiles.

i dont have kids but if i had a 14 year old daughter i would probably let her go with friends to her homecoming, i mean there is really no reason not to.

think back to when you were 14 you wouldnt be caught dead with your parents.. Taking them there and picking them up is one thing, but staying there with them is another. Teach the 14 the rights and wrong and pray to GOD that she'll be safe and have a great time!

I would allow my child to go but with some strict rules. It is important for teens to be able to assert some independence. Parents who do not let their child to "spread their wings" will later wish they had when the child is rebelling.

I went when I was 14, my parents took me, his parents took him,,,, we had a great time,,, our parents went ate and came back at 11 and picked us up..........

it depends on if she has given you any reason not to trust her .if she has'nt then let her go ....if she has then go with her ..good luck
