There are some questions on this site that actually bring a smile to my face.
I live alone and do not work so there are days and days that I do not speak to anyone or have contact with the world except through internet.
And it is questions like these that bring a smile to my face on lonely quiet days.
Hmmm. So if rebirth is then why the populations increase?
It is because the human being does not want to pay attention to anything that has been taught and takes several lives to get moksha. The human being is the most cunning and cruel species on earth.
Humans have the knowledge but because it does not suit his personal environment, he or she does nothing about the education acquired and carries on committing crimes over and over again
Look at the present situation in the world. There is enough information in the world of the criminal activities of some religions towards others.
Yet what kind of drastic measures have you seen being taken towards murderers and rapists.
I know of murderers and rapists who are committing these grave crimes and then going to western countries and "crying their eyes out" as victims.
There are so many war crimes in the world, but who is going to take action?
Therefore, populations do not act according to rules and therefore repetition and multiplication of life.
It is sick. The present situation is sick. Too many criminals roaming the streets. The spiritual world is very very unhealthy.
There is too much stress to live one lifetime.
Children have guns and drugs.
Too many women being raped and too many children in bad situations. Too many criminals and no one to take them to court.
Too many criminals "getting away with murder".
Too many conspiracies going on. Too many lies.
So until some very serious actions are taken and people held accountable for their actions and punished, the situation will carry on and our children and grandchildren will really and truly suffer because we in this time did not take the appropriate action.
This is my opinion.

Rebirth can take place on desire & karma
it can take a few minutes or millions of years later
So do not desire for rebirth before dieing

You are assuming that only humans have souls. As we expand our population we kill thousands of plants and animals for food and living space. In the end the destruction and creation balances out...

they say in rebirth an entity can be animal(other creatures) also. population of other creature is sadly decreasing.
