if you put toothpaste on your pimple that it will disappear?

I have heard of it, but haven't tried it. I would try just plain toothpaste though, nothing with whitening in it, that could possible irritate your skin. When that remedy came about, all what was on the market was Crest and Colgate original formulas, so I would stick with a very general variety.
Or better yet, go get some zit cream. At least you know that will work.

The toothpaste will dry out the pimple very rapidly, possibly over night. Do be careful... I have seen this cause a dark spot where the pimple once lived!

I don't know about it "disappearing" but I have heard that if you put a dab of toothpaste on your pimple that it will help to dry out the pimple.

Yes, I tried it a few times in High School. It has been known to cause dark spots, well darker than what it was, but if you don't leave it on for more than like 8 hours usually it's fine.

yeah it dries it out pretty good... Another solution to try is pure Tee Tree oil. It dries it out and kills bacteria! works great u will be acne free in a few days if you wash ur face morn and night and apply tee tree oil on troubled areas!

Yes, but you have to use the normal paste, without all the bells and whistle (ie; whitening formulation)

yes, it is true, but beware... it can start to burn sometimes, and thats without the whitening stuff in it! I was able to handle it. My sister, however, she couldn't! lol
