I think they're both interesting. I wouldn't go knocking on doors to tell people about either one of them, nor would I be asking for donations. I wouldn't be damnimg people to Hades either.

Bc they're so tied in with history. We know that Paul existed and that he first killed Christians then became one and was a leader in the Church. We know that the disciples died for believing Jesus was the Messiah. We know that those things happened, what ppl doubt is His resurrection and the miracles. But why would the disciples die for something they knew wasn't true? They wouldn't have stolen Jesus' body bc there were armed guards there who would've stopped or killed them.
The disciples saw the miracles and attested to them, we have a number of manuscripts we can compare to to make sure that they're accurate, and they are.
Those are some of the reasons I believe the Bible. It's also the most historically and archaeologically accurate work ever written. There are no contradictions despite being written by numerous authors (I've seen a lot of "supposed" ones, but I've often been able to refute them with little or no research) The fact that ppl's lives have been changed in a real way and ppl have been healed by praying in Jesus' name is a good testament to it's power and validity.

The bible is mythology!! Its only believable in the sense of a fable. A story, a fictional tale. That is the Only sense in which it is believable.
Poor Christians think its the holy word of God. Apparently they don't have The Discover Channel, or common sense.

for the non-believer they have no meaning what-so-ever... the Bible of The Christian Faith is not for the non-believer....those who claim they have "read the Bible front to back" and then state they are athiests or some other "religion" have wasted their time in the reading... For those who know The Truth there is much meaning to be found in even the incompleat record we have left of The Bible... But it is only through the leading of The holy Spirit that any of The Truth of Gods Word and Will may be vound in The Bible.

I agree completely, especially if you are referring to the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament). The New Testament is probably a little better based in real history, though I expect that all of the miracles were added in the retelling that took place over 60-120 years before the books were actually written.

"The Bible is the human history book of God's plan through out history. It is based on 1000's of historical facts and eyewitness testimony thoughout the last 5000 years. "Nelson Glueck (a Jewish Reformed scholar and archaeologist) probably gives us the greatest support for the historicity of the Bible when he states, "To date no archaeological discovery has ever controverted a single, properly understood biblical statement.""
Myths are not factual. The Bible is proven by the historical and archaeological evidence.

Christianity is based on an actual figure from history - Jesus Christ, Even Josephus, a Jewish historian, tells us that Jesus was a living person, not a myth. Also, we have the books of the Bible written by eyewitnesses of the events that record what took place.
The whole idea of Christianity is based on faith.

Because Bible stories have been PROVEN. Seriously. Not kidding. The ark was found, They found the Tower of Babel, they found ancient Babylonian tablets telling of a worldwide flood, and other seriously convincing things. Greek mythology, has NEVER BEEN PROVEN.

Because of historical evidence and other sources that verify many of the situations, places and events.
i.e. Babalonian and Egyptian records concur with the bible as to times, rulers and events dealing with the people of Israel.

Hello back to you. The bible is the living word inspired by God. Test the principles and tell me they don't have more power than mythology.
