Condrum: Months of limited freedom of pregnant woman vs. Life of child. Its sucks all the way around.

The fetus is a life, only uneducated people argue otherwise, the issue is whether its a "viable" life. In my mind the answer is clear but I understand why theres a debate and I wonder how God, if he exists, could even allow such a dilemma.

I mean, imagine a poor trailer park junkie. She pregnant but doesnt feel the humanity or signifcance of the tiny cell mass in her belly. Not knowing who the father is and not having the means or maturity for care, she gets the abortion. Sure, its a killing in the technical sense but how culpable is she and why did God allow such a dilemma in the first place?

The dilemma also implies God is a sexiest. I mean, this is not a dilemma men will have to face.

All this being said, human life is the most precious thing humans can know. In fact its all there is, theres nothing else. Abortion therefore should be banned... I loathe the dilemma.

You appear to be an intelligent human being . I believe that you have the capacity to understand the concept of free will. Think about what free will means and perhaps you may get it.

Doesn't the whole concept of free will mean God has no choice
but to allow it? As for being sexist-maybe,but how do we know
which gender a God would really favor? I mean, women have to have the babies but they also live longer, right?

As for the issue of abortion-in a world where overpopulation is a serious problem,we shouldn't discount any form of birth control.
For those people who see abortion as murder,it's a complicated
issue where a pregnant woman's control over her own body is
at stake. Once again it's where the issue of choice comes into
play, although not for the fetus. Like it or not,in an imperfect world
one can't be fair to everybody.

Who knows why God gives babies to junkies and good upstanding Christians have trouble getting pregnant. He is God. He has a reason sometimes unknown to us.There are alot of people who were born to women like that you spoke of who have made a significant difference in the World.

The thing that God allowed was that we would have enough intelligence to do either great things, or terrible things. Without the freedom of falling, flying would never be the beautiful risk it is.

I think that you should get some therapy. I hope you have health insurance; they will pay for some of it. Seriously, you need help.

He created it so that we could evolve beyond our mediocre intellects through sheer force of will.
