It can take time for them to get along, be patient and her attacks will not hurt him, she is trying to tell the puppy SHE is the boss. Keep and eye on them and show them both lots of love and they will be fine. Good Luck KG

Hello, I had 2 Dobes and two cats, one cat got along with with dogs, to the extreme of sleeping and eating with them out of their bowls, and the other cat only got along with one dog. All animals have different personalities, so its up the individual. Eventually they could be in the same room together. Don't force the issue they will accept each other in their own time. Good Luck with it.

Sure, Rosie will eventually get used to the puppy. They will probably be good friends one of these days. Rosie is lucky you got a puppy and not a full grown dog.

Don't scold the cat for her reactions. She's jealous, and she's letting him know who was there first. Since she's declawed, don't worry about it. They will most likely end up great pals.

They will get along fine once she knows she has been declared boss. She just laying down some rules for him while he is still submissive to them.
