do you have to have the bed that you sleep on, perfectly level, or horizontal. What health effect will there be if a/ head is lower than the feet and b/ feet is lower than the head; c/ the bed is sloping to one side, either left or right. Been wondering about these for sometimes now. Will there be difference for man or woman??

We raise the head of the bed in the hospital for people with breathing problems as it makes the work of breathing easier. And if someone is fainting we raise the foot of the bed to increase their blood pressure. Otherwise, it is pretty much personal preference. :)

Actually, I have my own bed.PERFECTLY level.I think the head should be higher than the feet, because having the head higher than the feet helps regulate the blood better than having the feet higher than the head. The head should/must be higher than the feet actually because these makes a person comfortable in his/ her sleep.TO MAKE YOUR HEAD HIGHER THAN YOUR FEET,try this:A)put a pillow under your head and be sure to keep your head perfectly straight to avoid wrinkles and pimples.

Some people elevate the top of their bed because of medical problems (e.g. acid reflux.) I don't think it is bad at all to do that, as long as it doesn't have a negative impact on your circulation. If you woke up and your hands or feet were numb, or something like that, I would say that's a very bad thing.
