Is it that you have a problem with Jesus and what He represents or is the problem more with those who claim to follow Him?

I am not appalled...not offended...just not convinced. I find that most people who claim to be Christians are not. If you have to tell me that you are, you're just NOT. It should show. It should be obvious. That's what we're taught in Sunday School as kids - let our light shine. So why is it, when in business, you hear 'I'm a Christian and...' you're almost sure to get ripped off? Or they're asking for something free just because they're Christians? I've been backstabbed at least TWICE as often by so-called Christians (including my Baptist Minister f-i-l) as by my pagan acquaintances. And the 'church people' are always the ones that give you 'the look' if your hair or clothes aren't perfect. Jesus himself was not like that. Nor was he a wealthy person. He owned little if anything at all. Whoops. I guess your answer is the problem is with those who CLAIM to follow him!

I have never been offended by the name of Jesus. I just don't understand why I need to pray to a martyr. If God says I should pray to only one God, then why do I gotta say "in Jesus name" during prayer? It's confusing!! I have almost given up on Christianity!!

Not offended. Amused by the whole thing. I really have a tough time with how anyone could be so gullible.
