Mohamud died without nominating anyone as Caliph and opened a Pandora Box for all future problems for Muslims,How come a person so calculated about every step forgotten the main and Last responsibility.Some Scholars blame Aysha for all this as at the time of death only she was accompyning Mohamud,so either she forced him to be silent for her father Abu-Bakir or she really hidden the written Testimony.After the incident of Aysha alledged foulplay and dramatic exoniration,Mohamud was puppit in the hand of Aysha.She got the power to speak for every thing and even Mohamud never objected her extra-powers.

OK I am a Muslim and I know the history of my religion and I am sorry to say that I don't know your sources at all but it seems to me that they are totally wrong
Lady Aisha didn't want her father to be the Caliph "The Successor" because she thought that he won't be powerful enough , Abu Bakir "PBUH" was famous for his kindness and his kind heart
Prophet Mohamed didn't say who would be his successor because "The issues of Muslims are to be discussed among them" as the Quran says
The thing that when Prophet Mohamed "PBUH" got very sick and went to Lady Aisha 's house , he could n't lead the Muslims in Prayers , and so he delegated Abu Bakir "PBu them all" to lead the Muslims
But he didn't say who would be the successor , as proof on that Abu Baker was chosen by a process nearer to the elections nowadays
The heads of the tribes gathered and chose him as the Successor in El-Medina
Another proof on that after the death of Abu-Bakir ,the same system was used and they chose Omar in the same way
When Omar was killed they chose Ali
When Ali died they chose Othman in the same way till his death
Then Hassen Ibn Ali came and he was killed Peace upon all them all "
after the Murder of Hassen came the division between the Muslims when there was a conflict between Emam El-Hussein,Son of Emam Ali and grand son of Prophet Mohamed "PBUH" and Yazid Ibn Moahoya , Yazid and his dynasty "the Ummyads" wanted to rule the Muslim and establish a monachry
Emam El- Hussein was against this not because he wanted the rule , but because monachry is against the REAL ISLAMIC SYSTEM ,Muslims are not to be inherited , the REAL ISLAMIC SYSTEM IS BASED UPON DEMOCRACY AND CONSULTING EACH OTHER
Then the Karabalah battle happened and Emam Hussein was coldly killed , His sister Lady Zeinab was captured and many of the friends of Prophet Mohamed "PBUH" were against Yazid and they paid for that ,Lady Asma the daughter of Abi Bakir saw her son cruxified for a period of time in the Kabbah surrounding by the orders of Yazid and his first interior minister in the Islamic Arab world "El-Hagag"

Regarding Lady Aisha , I think your sources are Shiites , as they hate Lady Aisha for some hidden reason I don't know it as I am Sunni
Lady Aisha wasn't like you described,and Of course Prophet Mohamed surely wasn't as you refered "Peace upon them"
