after 7 years of knowing my ex and 3 years of dating him...we've meet up a couple times here and there with major chemistry flying.is it possible that he just likes me as a friend? he gave signals like he is interested still---talking about his future plans and saying how beautiful i am. he even wanted our night to be like we were on a frist date. after that, i didnt hear from him until a couple weekends later---he sent a text,probably drunk,saying how nice it would be to wake up next to me...again, can ex's really be friends????? or, does he just want to be "sex buddies"??

yes they can. i am friends with some of my exs. but i'm not saying that all exs can be friends. it just depends on the person and the situation. but it sounds like he wants to be a little more than friends to me.

My ex and I were platonic roommates for about 2 years and friends for about 5 years after that. He ushered in my wedding. We've kind of drifted apart in the past couple of months, (we had an issue with borrowing money. Nothing to do with him being my ex) but we know where to find eachother.

it is possible for an ex to be a friend. It is a little tougher after you have been intimate but still possible. I am my ex's best friend right now and we can still hang out and stuff. I know her better than anyone else.
But it seems like he wants sex from you.

sex buddies for sure, and he has a really tight grip of himself to! never go back, hes old news.what you had with him wouldve been great im sure but you broke up for a reason.

There are some people that likes their ex-gf or ex-bf to be their friends.Like my husband,he still talking to his ex-gf.He told me that they are just friends.I feel bad about it but there's nothing i can do about it.And there are some people that just want their ex-gf or ex-bf to be their sex buddies.For me,I dont want that my ex-bf will be friend of me coz it will just hurt my feelings coz all of my ex-bf cheated on me.
