Ok, my mom totaled her car a few weeks ago so she has to get a new one.
With the new one, she is not allowed to drive it so the car is really mine.
Anyway, we found a 1995 Dodge Neon for 1000 dollars. Is it worth it? The car is a really pretty blue color.

But our grandpa does not want us to get it. He wants to buy her a car.
If he does buy us a car, I was considering a 2001 Ford Focus for 3995 dollars. Or a 2000 Dodge Neon for the same price.

Is the Ford Focus or 2000 Dodge Neon better than the cheaper older Neon? Even though it is more expensive. But it is not that much more expensive.

If my mom gets the 1995 Dodge Neon, she is buying it tomorrow so we need to make the decision fast. Or should we wait for my grandpa to buy her a car? If we buy it, we save him 3000 dollars or more.

It has 100,000 mileage already.

But thanks I am taking everything into consideration. And I really think Hondas are good cars. My mom had a honda in 2004 and 2005 but in Aug 2005 she crashed it.

No surprise there.

The Neon was rated one of the worst cars ever made. My mother-in-law has a 2001 Focus and it's already rusting. You should check out the Honda Civics.

Don't get any of them. Try life without a car. Breathe the air, interact with your community. Save money & save the planet & save your mum from more crashes....

Focus, less wear and tear than a 10 year old car.
Check www.autotrader.com and you can look for used cars in your area. Good luck.
