Both. When the excitement and romance of "being in love" die down, you have the true love of your relationship left. And you can keep the romance alive, just not at as hectic a pace.

Some times Marriage is but a commitment.You are not always "In love" with your spouse but that will pass and get better.All of us married people should know that.But when we are going through a rough time the "Commitment" is what holds the Marriage and family together.Trust is so important in a marriage.That's why Adultery is so damaging.No more trust,no more commitment one thinks there not "In love" so they look for another and then another and then another.One will never find love this way.Love is an action word.You have to have commitment and trust.Boy oh boy I could go on here but I will say one last thing.You can be In love and love the person you want to be with.You can also love your brother or sister but it is different feeling and commitment when your in love with some one.I hope you can make some sense out of that. lol

Love is always better because it kicks in when you are not feeling " in love with your mate". Being in love is a feeling it comes and goes. Love never fails!

I THINK BOTH .... YOU SHOULD LOVE THE PERSON YOU MARRY ,BUT AS WELL BE " IN LOVE " WITH THEM ALSO . IF NEEDING A SINGLE ANSWER , I WOULD CHOSE TO BE IN LOVE WITH THE PERSON .....LOVE IS AGELESS , LOVE IS A WONDERFUL THING .

you should love the person who they are & be in love also
If you don't like them as a person you can't love them i don't think!!
