I just thank God you made it through this time. I think it says on the bottle of Tylenol PM not to take more that 4 in any 24 hours. You are a very lucky person. Please don't do this again. Next time, you just might not wake up.
You and your husband need to sit down and have a heart to heart talk. If you feel you need to go to the doctor, then by all means go. If your husband doesn't like it, I am sure he would rather have a healthy wife instead of a dead one.

The danger in overdoing Tylenol (5+ or so or more pills) is that your liver has to work extra to cleanse it from your body. You can have serious problems down the road if you continue behavior like that.

"Expectations (prognosis) - Prognosis is related to the amount of acetamenophen ingested and how soon treatment is started. If treatment is started within 8 hours of ingestion, or a less than toxic dose is ingested, there is a very good chance of recovery."
You might want to go to the emergency room at the hospital!!

Call a poison control hot line and ask them. I'm sure you can find an 800 number on the net. You're probably ok, but there is a potential for liver damage with a Tylenol OD. So, call poison control or your doctor.

yeah im sure its not good for you... the peak time is 2 hours after the med is taken... and its fully wore off at 6 hours for the tylonal and 8 hours for the sleeping medication... So its not from the medicine directly... It could have something to do with the liver damage you probably gave yourself from taking that much tylonal

Well the good news is you didnt actually overdose.8 pills while not being too smart isnt enough to kill ya. If you feel sick get it checked..what kinda husband is he if he wont let you go to the doc???

It sounds like the OD is affecting the liver. You will need to go to the doctor. Tell your husband it is for some other reason if you need to. But get to the doctor.

not being a doctor. i would say that you are pushing it not
only will this really mess up your liver functions it sounds like you overdid it and not intentional. you can go to the doctor if you are feeling bad don't let him stop you from going he can best prescribe you some meds for you. but don't self medicate like that again you only have one liver

If you won't go to the doctor,go to your nearest health food store and buy some Milk Thistle and some N-Acetyl Cysteine,Take twice the recommended dosage for 10 days.These will cleanse and help to heal your liver.

I don't think 8 pills is that bad. It sounds like they have made you sick, though. Just ride it out and if it get's worse you are going to have to see a doctor.

yuo have not passed out yet i did that once but it was like 10 or 13 different pills advil them tpye i passed out for 5 hrs throw up all day when i woke up and felt like crap
