This is a serious question. I was hoping to see some testimonials. I was more interested in spiritual trance.

"A person who neither rejoices upon achieving something pleasant nor laments upon obtaining something unpleasant, who is self-intelligent, who is unbewildered, and who knows the science of God, is already situated in transcendence."
Bg 5.20

"Such a liberated person is not attracted to material sense pleasure but is always in trance, enjoying the pleasure within. In this way the self-realized person enjoys unlimited happiness, for he concentrates on the Supreme."
Bg 5.21

Trance is called samadhi in the Bhakti Yoga system. However, we could call trance a fixation of the mind whether it be good, evil, material or spiritual. We want to have the mind fixed on something beneficial to our spiritual awakening if at all possible.

I am continuously in psychosis if I don't take meds. It is a very spiritual experience for me, but on a very demonic side. I feel that all that people say around me, and evey movement they do is directed against me. Plus, if I listen to music, the music is about what I go through at that particular moment, sometimes mocking me, and sometimes speaking to me, directly to my thoughts.

But that isn't a trance...I think trance is something more like good to feel, and deep experience as well, but positive....

WHatever. my psychosis has deep meaning too.

My testimonial? Those psychosises have changed my life. Because I was constantly ridiculed attacked hurt by those voices I went to look for god and became religious/spiritual. Now I feel better. I think I have went through a spiritual transformation because of my psychoses, so it's a good thing even though it hurts and I wished it was over.

PS: Some call it kundalini awakening

life is a kind of trance - we are all caught up with our own agenda of bowing to emotional, psychological and spiritual addictions. we cloud our own vision so that we think we are living the end all be all truth of existence - the trick is to break free and see life for what it really is.
