I am 13 and going into highschool next year and my dad refuses to get me a cell phone. What should I do?

go without a cell phone. when you get a job and can pay for it you can get one. i got mine at 16 after i got a job and could pay for it. your dad is very smart not to let you have one.

Honey, listen to your parents. Apparently, you do not NEED a cell phone at this time in your life. Did you know that there is a risk in using cell phones? Using a cell phone is like sticking your head in a microwave oven and turning it on. Not for this guy at all!!!
Maybe you should do a little research say, through GOOGLE and on SEARCH type cell phones and see what pops up. You will then educate yourself on the dangers of using a cell phone.
It is a possibility your folks know this and are looking out for your health and safety in this regard.
Good Luck and please take my advice. There are health risks in using cell phones, please believe me.
People who use cell phones don't care about their health, that's for sure.

talk to your mommy and ask her would she get you one. Because i had that same problem, my dad did'nt want me to have a phone neither but i had a phone since i was like 9 or 10 so he got over it. But ask your mom or auntie. Dads never like to do what we girls like to do. My mom bought me my first phone and always have. so i hope you get one.
