I mean I never know what to expect.

because you are going out with a complete stranger, someone that you know nothing aobut, or usually what they look like until they arrive. It is normally one of your friends setting you up with either on of their b/f's buddies, or one of their g/f friends. and the only thing you know about them is that they are nice, or have a great personality. you spend the first half hour or so making small talk not knowing what to say, you get really uncomfortable if they are not very attractive and they are one of the touchy feely types. basically because you never knew what you are going to get your self into. It is kinda like opening presents on Christmas morning, none of the presents have names on them, and you only get one. And when you start opening it you are praying please,please dont suck, please please. Sometimes they suck and sometimes the don't. my experience most of them do suck

i've never had a bad one, but then again, i had absolutely nothing to lose by acting myself. there are no games to play, just talk normally and get to know that person.

in order to have conversation, you need things in common, and shared experiences, you wouldnt really know in such a scenario

cause you don't know the person. someone either set u up wit em. you didn't bond wit em. you were told that you could. am i right?
