This is incredibly easy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious!!!

Gravy Baked Pork Chops
Serves 4

4 (1-1/4 inch thick) Pork Chops
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
3/4 Cup 2% Milk
1/4 Cup Water
1 (10-3/4 oz can) Cream of Mushroom Soup

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350º F.

Season pork chops with salt and pepper to taste. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Sauté the pork chops in the butter for about 5 minutes per side.

In a separate medium bowl, combine the milk, water and soup. Place the pork chops in a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour the soup mixture over the chops.

Bake for 45 minutes. Serve immediately.

Those are thin chops! Pork cooks quickly so don't put them into an oven. Use a skillet, a little butter and cook them as you would a schnitzel or a cutlet. Pepper, dust with flour, a quick egg wash, into some breadcrumbs and then fry both sides until a golden brown. This will keep the chops moist. At this thickness there is too much risk that you will end up with crispy bacon chops!

I broil good steaks so broiling pork chops should be just fine. The broiler has an automatic temperature setting. Just be sure you leave the oven open a crack and not shut! I do bake things in the bottom of the broiler pan! It's the perfect size for my double batch brownies. I would either marinate with oil and vinegar or just season when you pull them out. A meat thermometer would let you know exactly when they're done but you should be able to tell by cutting one open with a knife and checking.

About fifteen seconds. Seriously, don't bake them. Put them in a pan, heated with veg. oil for about 2 minutes per side, at that thickness.

At that thickness...or thinness should I say.....they will cook quickly. Just cook them long enough....about 3 minutes per side....to turn the meat white. If you cook them longer, they will dry out and be tougher than they need to be.
