There are as many style as there are different cultures of people. Every group had to develop something to protect their homes. This is how martial arts developed.
To those that feel martial arts are only from the Asian area please let me point out that the French developed their own system indepently, the Native Americans developed their own system and there are carvings of hand to hand combat in Eygpt. These countries developed these style independently from Shaolin styles.

There are alot of martal arts style but Shaolin is the source of all martial arts

There are many martial arts in the world. Kung fu, escrima, kali, kick boxing, muay thai, jui jitsu, wrestling, judo, jun fan boxing, jeet kun do, krav maga, hapkido, tang soo doo, dim mak, tae kwon do, wing chun, and many many more. This looks like a repeat. If you mean how many different named styles, more than I could list here, maybe more than you could count. They can be divided many ways: Striking, grappling & weapons; country of orgin (Korea, Japan, China etc); philosophy (Do vs Jitsu). If you want a meaningfull answer, you have to be more specific in your question.

being:
Karate
Kung Fu
Tae Kwon Do
JuiJitsu/Judo
Western Boxing
Eastern Kick Boxing
Most styles can trace their roots to one of those original styles.
