Several things come to mind.

Are you hyperventilating, perhaps? Talk with your band leader about it and see if he can offer tips.

Another thing you can try is drinking lots of water or perhaps sports drinks during practice in case you're actually overheating and dehydrating.

Good luck!

Go see a doctor, just to double check that you don't have anemia, or some other issue that affects how your body gets oxygen. But aside from that, here are some other ideas. Morning practice? You need to have a full breakfast. You are still growing, so a banana and a Diet Coke isn't enough. You can't expect to ride a car that has no gas! If you are on a diet, stop! Eat a solid breakfast, with some protein and fats, not just a little fruit or something similar. Watch your dinner, not your breakfast. Afternoon practice? Water, water, water. You may be dehydrated. Use the drinking fountain. Use it again. If your pee is even a little bit yellow, you're not getting enough water. Did you eat lunch? See a solid breakfast above. Anytime! Make sure you breathe. To breathe deeply, you need to fill your belly with air - push against the waistline of your pants. Don't wear tight jeans, you are eliminating your ability to breathe. How much in shape are you? Ask a PE teacher for a couple of ways to evaluate your endurance. If you are very underweight or overweight, you might simply be in need of some more exercise. You know not to lock your knees, but be aware of breathing while playing, too. Sometimes you can hyperventilate when breathing again and again. If it's happening while you are playing (or right after a song ends) then you may be breathing too much. When you begin to feel a little weird, stop playing for a bit. Breathe slowly a few times. Assuming that you don't have a medical issue (and you might want to see a doctor about this one!) then you need to learn a little more about your body, and how to prevent this.

Well with marching practice, sometimes you spend a lot of time standing in one place, right? Are you locking your knees? That is not a good idea to do when standing for a long time. Keep your knees slightly bent. Of course, make sure you are eating properly and are drinking enough water. The natural thing to do is however, tell your coach when you have a problem, and try to see a doctor as soon as you can.

You need 2 go 2 da doctor and take a blood test. Stick 2 that same doctor 'cause if you change the next doctor might have you take another blood test to compare "apples" or results. But if they do don't sweat it cause they can be sure of the condition. Trust me 'cause i went 2 da doctor 4 my cycle and they did the same thing.

If it were a disease, you would be passing out at other times, too.

My guess is that your body is looking for more oxygen that it can get, when you're blowing the clarinet and walking at the same time.

Be sure to breathe deeply whenever you get the chance. You might feel as if you need to breathe fast, but deep breaths will help you more.

i really don't think you have a disease or cancer and you are too young to be worrying about these things, you most certainly should be enjoying life, have you talked to your mom on this, that dear is who you should be talking to and not here, she will probably take you to a doctor to find out the cause, what has your marching instructor said. please talk to your mom on this, like today, i would be very concerned if you were my grand daughter with this problem and hadn't talked to your mom, good luck dear and God Bless you, and STOP worrying, let the adults in your life do that, ok.

I'm not sure, one of my friends passed out in chorus class recently, but he doesn't eat alot,, maybe it's because it's so hot outside (depending on where you live)

you should go to more Rascal Flatts concerts, there toar is all most over :-(
