Just be careful b/c some free file sharing applications have spyware on them, as part of being free, you ignore the legalese and click "I Accept" but then it hijacks your PC.

1) It's not legal to even HAVE copyrighted software that you didn't pay for - it doesn't matter if it's German ort Martian. You're violating *US* copyright law. 2) The RIAA sues regardless of who owns the copyright. (And they almost always get a huge judgment.) 3) Since any site that had copyrighted music available for download would be sued almost immediately, the only way you're going to get "free" music is with a peer-to-peer program which means a) a download and b) you might get a virus, not music.

E-Mule. It's the best. I've had Morpheus, Bearshare and Limewire before. I got too many viruses and such and they cause too many problems on my computer. I uninstalled them and tried E-Mule. Had it about a year now with NO problems whatsoever. It's the best. I won't have any other programs but E-Mule.
