And then they turn around and say that they're the mother so they automatically deserve to have custody of the child?
If they weren't responsible enough to keep their legs shut, how much more responsible do they think that they're going to be after the child is born?

Killa- Becasue females are still usually the ones who win custody battles just because of their gender and the fact that they are the ones who gave birth, regardless of whether or not they are responsible enough to properly raise the child.

Men are equally responsible in making the child and should have to take part in raising them. Any good judge would give custody to whatever parent seems most fit to raise the child in a loving and stable home.

WTF, it DOES sound like someone is bitter. First of all, I don't believe just because someone has the ability to reproduce that they should "automatically deserve to have custody of the child" mother or father. Secound of all what makes the guy anymore responsible then the woman if he can't keep it in his pants. If you take a count of how many single moms there are compared to dads, it's not even close. Now, I'm not saying that being a single mom makes you responsible but on average their are a lot more single moms then dads. Men have the freedom to leave the mom and the child (before it's born) whenever they want. The mother does not (at least not intill the baby is born). Is it right? no Is it fair? again no but it's a fact, to say that "females are always ready for sex but not for the responsinbilities" is one gender sided.

You are right some girls aren't ready for sex. I don't think anyone can possibly be ready to have a child, honestly. Whether you plan your butt off or just have one great night. People make mistakes. Parenthood is something people cannot even imagine or be fully prepared for.
Of course they want custody of the child. Both parents would (hopefully) want custody of the child! It's their kid for goodness sake! The mother has just as much of a right to the child as the father.
Why do males have sex with females knowing there is the possibility for pregnancy? Don't they know how to keep their pants zipped? Why would you have sex with someone who you aren't serious with? If you are that far in a relationship I would think you'd talk about kids, family, and morals.

Isn't asking for custody reflects responsibility. I guess she could be responsible if she decided to keep the baby. You'll be amazed how much a girl can change after experiencing delivery and everything. Pregnancy comes with big responsibilities. You have to take care of your food, you can't be stress out, you have to take care of yourself and everything else.
Well, ready or not, (I have to agree with Alma and Kila) I guess women would be the one who stuck with the consequences. Men can run away... though i don't say every man would run away, but women stuck with the baby (if they decided to keep it) or the leftover feeling of abortion. Men can easily walk away and go back with their life, while women, left being single mom, have to devote her life 24/7 to the new baby.
So I guess, it's because women have 9 months to learn how to be responsible in terms of another human being.

my sentiments exactly!(but this should only apply to those who are not in a relationship for a reasonable length of time.)and if the men don't want the headaches they should also be responsible for themselves, and KNOW THAT IF YOU HAVE SEX YOU CAN BECOME A PARENT-TURDS ON MAURY TAKE HEED!I AM SICK OF ALL OF YOU! I DON'T WATCH BUT SOMEONE IN MY HOUSE DOES,AND I AM SICK OF YOU!
