Which is the better knfe, in santoku style.

In all honesty, you need to go to a store and hold both of them. See what length works for you, the weight in your hand. Mimic chopping veggies with each. Then you'll know which one feels better for you.

They're both good quality knives. But you'll need to have that "feel" for it if you'll be using it every day. You won't want something for that price that you don't feel comfortable about using.

Both great quality knives with top-grade steel, but I agree with"Chefgrill" the difference will be in the balance. The knife should be an extension of your arm, not a heavy implement hanging on the end!

my husband likes the Henckels and has used them for years.. they seem to stay sharp, and have really held up to his use...
