Hey, I'm seventeen, weigh about 135 pounds and am 5'7'' tall (i'm a guy btw). I've noticed that most of my friends are not only taller (that's not a big problem) but bigger (not fat) as well. I feel kinda puny around them so I want to get a little bigger so that I don't have such a thin frame.

What are some good excersises that I can do in the weight room and out of it?

Oh yeah, don't go saying anything like "take steroids" or anything like that.

www.bodybuilding.com has lots of good workouts. I find lots of stuff off there. Mens Health also has new stuff each month. Its not going to happen over night. Make sure you eat right, do cardio, and don't over lift, meaning ltrying to lift more than you can. Start small and work up. You could also join a gym and get a trainer.

First of all being a smaller guy isn't always ur fault, some people are just naturaly bigger than others. People with high metabolisims have a hard time putting on any size. My suggestion would be to try and gain a little weight first. EAT ALOT your only young so it wont affect you, dont become a couch potato cause thats not healthy but start urself on a light fitness routine to include weight training as well as cardio. I say "light" because too much too fast isnt good for ya. After a few weeks slowly increase the amount of work you do and you should slowly start to see results. Remember dedication!!

You need to start working out with heavy weights and low reps to stimulate muscle growth. Give your muscles enough time to repair before you work out again.
You also need to start eating more protein. You need to eat 1-2 grams of protein for every pound you weigh every day (no more than 40 grams at a time).
