If you really want to stay with Nero for your burning and compressing then all you need to get is AnyDVD. This program just runs in the background and nullifies any copy protection. You can purchase this at www.slysoft.com. The program can also be found for free on just about any P2P network.

nope, for obvious reasons - nero is a well-known and popular software and not a software which lends itself to illegal activities.

to copy copyrighted dvds you need a program which can handle the encryption, such as dvd decrypter:

also if the dvd is a film which i assume is what we're talking about, a 'bought' dvd film doesn't even fit onto a blank dvd anyways because the blank dvd is smaller; the menus, extras, audio commentary and so on all have to be ripped out to fit on a blank dvd.
