I would not discuss what I saw with him because he could easily come up with an excuse as to why the text is in there and your friend (I assume) will never really know the truth. Suggest to her that the two of you follow him and get the real proof that you need to make an educated decision.

This is so not good....i saw a text on my ex bf phone before which he confirmed to me that he had cheated, i forgave but didnt forget! By him even thinking it or maybe he has already done it, is not good, i would advise you to break up with him, it will be for the best, if he finds out you looked at his phone, he will turn the table on you and say u dont trust him blah blah blah, but obviously by u doin that this has confirmed your gut instinct and not your heart. Go with what your head tells you.

If he knows the person then most likely the name of that person will appear on the text. Get details prior to the break up. Maybe a girl likes him but he doesnt give her the time of day. You know how girls can be. Maybe she wanted his girlfriend to find the text. Get more info before you jump to conclusions

I do nothing. It is none of my business. Why should I get involved in other people's domestic or sexual life? I just play it cool and have a sip from my warm cappucino or hot Earl Grey tea.

I would follow him and video record him, that way I have evidence for court after I file for divorce. There would be no talking about it whatsoever. If he was sorry and such he would not do it to begin with.

Break up. No point in discussing. If they felt it was wrong, they would not be planning it.
