Well, I think what I would do is next time he has a birthday or some holiday or something, buy him one of those cologne giftsets that come with deodorant and talcum powder, and then tell him that he's supposed to use the powder on his feet, because that's what it's for. Most guys don't know that, so they use it on other body parts too, which is fine, but it's really for guys' feet. This won't make him sad or hurt his feelings because it will just look like a nice present. Like, I'm sure you don't get all offended when people get you bath beads or body wash for a present. It's the same thing...
