okay. me and this guy have been best friends for years now. and we went out once but that was liike in sixth grade [immature] and then we broke up blahblah. i broke up with him. and then we started becoming best best friends. liike i told him everything. there was always a lil' "something" there. but it was just LITTLe. not enough for him being my boyfriend. now he says he loves me and i dont know what to say, because i dont feel the same way. i dont wanna have to worry about being in a relationship at fourteen years old. its just.... pointless to me. but for him. its either me be his girlfriend. or nothing at all. and today at school he totally ignored me. i was liike wtf. but to me.... he's just acting really immature and stupid. because he needs to understand my point of view too. you know? any advice. if you have been in this situation... please answer. or if you have any advice. please. i dont wanna lose my best friend but i dont want to be in a relationship either but yeahh......

14, too young for a boyfriend. Be a kid and don't think you have to grow up so dang fast. If he only wants you as a girlfriend now, and that is it, well then I guess he is gone. Serious you don't want to give it a shot just for his sake, if you don't feel the same way 100% you aren't gonna do him any favors.

as hard as it may be, if you don't like him in that way you have to tell him that, it will hurt him worse in the long run and you too probably if you go out with him just because you don't want to lose your friend. i think you just need to tell him how much you like him and everything but just not in that way, its best for both of you not to date if you dont have those feelings for him hopefully he'll be able to see it from your perspective
