I have trouble getting a girlfriend. I have a good personality, I am pretty good looking and I have an average body. I don't know if my problem is that I'm a type of person who wants a girl to approach him first or what? What should I do?

become friends with lots of girls. talk a lot to a lot of girls. then after a while you will see how you and maybe another feels.
Go to a school dance. Ask girls to dance.
Thats what happend when i got my gf

If you are waiting for girls to approach you first, then you will be waiting a looooong time. No girl wants a coward for a boyfriend.
Self-confidence and humor are the two things that most women say that they are looking for in a man. BTW, do not make comments about her body, or how pretty she is, because that sounds creepy coming from a stranger (Besides, pretty girls get told by guys about a hundred times a day how pretty she is -- you don't want to sound just like every other creep who has been trying to get into her pants). And make sure that you keep eye contact (if you get shy and start to look down at the floor (or her body) like most guys do, she will think that you are looking at her boobs and get offended).

I am in your same situation and I have done a lot of efforts to meet girls, I have not been able to get a girlfriend but I have been able to hook up with many girls, but that is all, just hook up.
Lately I have found out that one of the biggest problems that a guy or a girl can encounter is that you do not know enought girls, the reasons are various, but maybe you should become part of a club or someting and start telling people that you are looking for a girlfriend, believe me, when people see that you are a decent person, they will help you out

well I always ask a guy if they would go out with me b/c they don't so I think you sould wait till a girl asks you if you want I can email me.
