I am a 20 year old female, 5'4'', 128 pounds... Just a general description. Ok well here is my question and if anyone has any ideas or opinions please be sure to share it with me:
I have been having alot of pains on my left upper side (my heart are and around to the back sortve) especially every time I breath in really deep. And my whole left arm just feels sore, not shooting pains or anything it just feels sore as well as my shoulder. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be? I dont want to go to the E.R just because of it especially if it is most likely not a big deal.
And one more problem, I have a lump underneith my right arm, its a lump on my arm pit and it hurts not really bad but I notice it alot especially when I hold my arm really close to my side..
Let me know what you all think, thanks.

This is not the first time ive had pain on my left side, and the shoulder and arm problems, the last time was 10x worse than this time but I feel it getting to the point were it hurts especially when I laugh or cough or breath in really deep. When I went to the E.R the last time they couldnt find anything wrong so I dont know.

well it sounds like your lymphnode is swollen underneath your arm...and it could be causing you all that other pain...your lymphnodes help cycle the infections about of your body and that's what it sounds like it could be doing...it could also be lymphoma (cancer of the lymphnodes) so i would go and get it checked by a doctor..but it's not worth going to the ER over..

I agree that it sounds like your lymph node. Do you have a regular OBGYN? Next time you go in for your annual check up, ask your doctor about it then... if you don't want to go to the doctor specifically for this. (I ask my OBGYN all sorts of questions -- I'm more comfortable with him than starting all over with an MD that I do not know).

your body has lymph nodes all over your body.they get enlarged and painful when infection is present. go to your doc,the one who knows you and your past medical problems.or just call your doc and tell him/her the problem.
