By the way: I am a non-believer. So in your view, I cannot be "saved".

I am NOT a christian but since they always stick their noses in where they shouldn't so why not.......

It is part of their belief or faith, they are constantly being bombarded with messages that they are sinners, unworthy, unable to make a decisions for themselves and unless they repent they will go to "hell". So christians due to their inability to take action and responsibility for their own lives (the attitude of....it is god's will... and so on) will always live in fear that some fictional being will forget about them and leave them behind.

I fear nothing as a Christian. My eternity is garunteed, I am absolutely free today and no one can ever take it away from me.

Now then some try to evanglize using fear tacticts such as damnation. I do not agree with this way of spreading the Gospel (Good News) to me it is not all tha good if the majority of what you say is about hatred, pain and destruction.

I follow St. Augistine's teaching. Preach the Gospel at all times. Use words only when necessary.

If you would just hang out with me and watch me for a while you will see the goodness that is God. This is the way Jesus did it. He invited people to hang out with Him and see.

You become a Christian after you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, which means you are saved. With that being said, shouldn't this question be addressed to non Christians(those who are not saved)??

Well I for one am at a loss to your question,Because I am not afraid I am just totally thankful. You see He opens your eyes to the fact that satan plays us for fools and steals our power God has given to us and uses it to fool you into thinking it was his power so he can sucker you into being able to torture you for eternity. The idiot has been stripped of power,Do you understand? All he can do now is trick individuals into giving him their power like Eve in the garden. But he can no longer take it all like he once did.So at the end of the world the losers will be with the biggest loser of them all, satan.Because he will not have enough power to fight his way out of a wet paper bag.So all that is happening is a sucker game with a whole lot of suckers.Anyway God has opened my eyes to so many things I am not afraid any longer about being saved,I look anxiously forward to it.And looking forward to getting away from all the stupidity going on down here. You know anyone who rejects Jesus had ought to start finding ways of truly enjoying pain, suffering and torment because they are shooting for eternity in it.That's brain-dead don't you think?

First of all, to all of you who think that when you die...that is it. How do you know? Until you die, how can you know FOR SURE what awaits you on the "other side"?

I for one do not fear death because I have faith that Jesus Christ died for my sins and purchased a place for me in heaven. I am not fearful about not being saved because I am confident that I will never "lose" my salvation.

The fact that Christ arose from death gives me hope that this life is not all that there is. I sincerely hope that one day I will meet you in heaven and enjoy life with God forever!

Thanks for asking your question and reading my response.

Regards,
Park

As a Roman Catholic I realize that being saved is in the hands of Jesus Christ my Savior.

He said, Be not Afraid.

I am not afraid of not being saved... how could I be? I am saved. Are you?

i believe this question can be misinterpreted in many ways, but if you are asking about our basic beliefs of heaven and hell and not wanting to go to the later, then i think it is obvious why we would want to be saved.
