Well, if you made a big mistake, you have to say sorry in a big way like paying for her stiches, or getting her something really big like a car. ( If you have enough $)

Whoops! I can understand how she was furious at the time. But in the future, I'm sure if you nicknamed her "boo", you won't be the only one hysterically laughing. :) Besides sincerely apologizing, there isn't much you can do. Give her a giant hug, swear you wouldn't do anything to hurt her and suggest she take a swing at you to get even. lol. Of course she wouldn't do that though. :) Once every thing's okay again, which it will be...think about moving the pots and pans to a cupboard closer to the floor so this doesn't happen again. So to answer your question, be very sympathetic and warm to her feelings and make sure you tell her that you laughed out of nervousness and if you had ever known she was seriously hurt, it would never have slipped out. Good luck!

Oh, man!!! That's a good one. All you need to do is show her what a wreck you'd be if she'd really gotten seriously hurt. Tell her you were just trying to have a little fun and it got way out of hand. Also, don't forget to refer to your own stupidity a lot during the apology (I'm not saying you ARE stupid; I'm just saying that whenever my boyfriend alludes to being stupid, the first thing I want to say is, "Oh, no you're not, honey," thereby giving him a foothold in the argument.) I'm sure you two will look back on this and laugh in a couple of...years... Oh, and don't forget to buy her something to make up for it. How about a fancy dinner? Say something like, "I want to get you away from those harmful pots and pans for a night." LOL

First, tell her the truth, then buy her LOTS of her favorite flowers and a gushy, sweet card. Try to help her see the humor in the situation while making certain YOU remember never to scare her again. The 3 stitches aside (Ouch!), it is a bit funny and it won't be your last such moment, hey next time it might be you. Good Luck Darlin'.

i would say roses and chocolate but thats over done. do something unique, like cook for her and spend a whole day with her like go to the movies, then get home and cuddle after ward and let her kno ur true intentions when u was in the kitchen and she hit her head.

ouch! damn lol well just say sorry and I didn't mean to hurt you, I just want to surprise you. Don't say much. Try from now on, you start cooking and treat her like a queen. Just learn from your mistake not to scare her in the kitchen where all the dangerous things are and scare her in the living room.

First wait till shes not so angry (humm) that can be a while.. okk... FLOWERS... first, then what you worte here is an explanation... why not write her (HANDWRITE) an explanation and include a massive I AM SOO SOORRY.... also grovelling, catering to her every need and doing the cooking yourself for a while is a good idea....

Flowers, Chocalate, an apology letter and a neck rub. But honoustly, I think I would have laughed to. She may laugh later herself, but was just startled. She probably isn't even mad at you. You're a great guy. Wish I had one!

i think you should tell her what happened and tell her u didn't do it on purpose that u didn't want to get hurt and that the laugh just slipped out that u didn't mean it I'm sure shell understand and next time don't try to scare when shes cooking. i hope it works out. good luck :)

Or, you could try making her dinner while wearing a pot on your head the whole time. HA HA HA
