Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

I know when I crave sweets. That most of the time means my body wants sugar. There is healthy sugars out there that will not harm if your trying to lose weight. But there is times I want cake and things. I have blood sugar problems. I can not always have this. There is ones out there that are made with no sugar added to no sugar at all. these would be a good way to go. There is can fruit out there that is made for diabetics. This is really good if on a diet. there is none of the added sugar that is in the normal can fruits.

Well I hope I helped. I am going to go and read some of what other ppl have said...hehe take care and good luck on your weight lose. I know it is not a easy thing to do. Keep up the good work.

I swear by the South Beach Diet. I used to eat tons of crap. I could eat all sorts of stuff in one sitting, cookies, ice cream, chocolate, chips because I would have such strong cravings for it. I followed the SB diet and the first 2 weeks suck but you get all those nasty cravings out of your system. Now I can look at a piece of chocolate cake and not HAVE to eat it. Plus I've lost 50 lbs in 3 1/2 months.

My nickname is Sweets because , well the answer is in the name. I am now on a diet because of my sweet tooth, but I still of course get a taste for something sweet every once in a while. I eat a nutri grain bar with yogurt because the yogurt filling is sweet and the bar is like eating cake. Each bar is only 1.5 grams of fat and I think about 100 calories. Also try bananas or apples. The banana is sweet so is the apple, but the apple has juice (of course) thats sweet, filling, and healthy.

Yes there is!!! You can try chocolate soya beverage, or vanilla soya beverage, I myself put it in my cereal. I used to like vanilla ice cream but now I cannot eat any dairy product because I have Irritable bowel Syndrome. Soya is excellent for you and they have added a lot of calcium, protein, vitamin D, even Vitamin A, magnesium, phosphorous. It makes me feel great and it has a good taste. Soya is also know to prevent cancer. The soya beverages mentioned are made from Soya beans. Another thing you can do is eat bananas, strawberries, pineapple, oranges, apples, they are all sweet, and healthy. Enjoy!!! mermaid199

Try an energy bar, most are sweet and most add important nutrients. Remember that total calories are as important as the actual foods you eat while you diet. If you have a candy bar, you can make up for it by eating a salad for lunch.

Try waiting your craving out. Most cravings last around twenty minutes. Also, remember your goal- a sucessful diet. You could also try chewing sugarfree gum and doing something that you like to get your mind off of food!

Have a piece of fruit - an apple is good because it's crunchy and takes a few minutes to eat! It's also very healthy for you and lots of fibre to keep you full longer!
