Probably as a child I felt the closest, when you just trust that God is in heaven. A feeling? A place? A person? Interested to know, most heartfelt answer has the points.:o]

Well 3 years ago I quit my Job and went into the employ of God. If I eat it is because God provided. If I have shelter it is because God provided. God gave me the truch I drive and God keeps it running even when there is no reason that it should. (i.e. no gas)
I wake up naturally every day to Jesus nudging me. Jesus and I hang out all day long (except when I get distracted) Jesus cuffs me aside my head when I get lippy and places his hand on my shoulder when I am afraid.
Yeah, I would say I am close to God.

I feel close to God because I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I have accepted Jesus into my heart. I have a close relationship through prayer and reading his Word (reading the Bible). The more you read and pray the closer you are with Jesus. It is by God's grace that we are saved, but only received by faith. Saving faith - Faith in Jesus is the only condition God requires for salvation. Faith is not only a profession about Christ, but also an activity coming from the heart of the believer who seeks to follow Christ as Lord and Savior Faith means firmly believing; involves repentance; obedience to Jesus Christ; Faith includes a heartfelt personal devotion and attachment to Jesus Christ. God gives a measure of grace as a gift (1 Co 4:4) to unbelievers so that they may be able to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (Eph 2:8-9, Tit 1:11; 3:4) God gives grace to believers to be "set free of sin" (Romans 6:20,22). God loves you1 Read his Word and pray - I will pray for you also.

yes you need to trust him because he is the lord and you should not doubt him. god loves you and you need to exept it. he is knocking on your door to your heart, all you need to do is open it and trust
