There is no such thing as a free kitten. You have to buy food, litter, shots, the vet visits, spay or neutering it and the list goes on and on. So if you can't afford all these things then don't get a kitten so that it can die of some disease. Or have hundreds of kittens.

you can ask friends if theyre cats have had any kittens. or go to some shelters. Shelters are good because youre saving animals who are unwanted or abandoned.

Go to www.catster.com and do a search in your area. A lot of cats requiring homes are listed there.

in my newspaper, i go to the classifides and they have this section for pets for sale, and free pets. there are always some kittens there.
