it still hurts being called that way sometimes ..what to do?

just ignore 'em I'm not a fan of school and not good with studying but my friend Iyoun gets called a geek all the time and the best thing he does is say yep I'm a geek and say something and I'm a geek I'm a geek yay for me I can't wait 'till I'm your boss. It shocks the other ppl and is really funny it shows ppl he doesn't care . Good Luck

Someone some place is always going to be calling some one names. They do it to make themselves feel bigger and better, but they are really hiding that fact that they are insecure. If being a geek is the road to success, then YEA for geeks and just keep studying. There are worse names that you can be called. But sometimes it takes the sting out of the words if you agree with them and say, "Yes, I'm a geek and I'll soon be making good money for having been a geek." then walk off.

Well, the best formula for that is to ignore them.When people get ignore they stop one day because they will think that calling u that isn't doing u anything but if they know u are bother by it they will keep on.They just call u that because they are insecure and jealous of ur sucess but when u look on the bright side they are the real geeks cause they will be the ones with know future ahead so keep on doing what u do and let God be ur guide.

Don't worry about these turds that are labeling you in this unflattering way. Ten years from now(even five) you'll have a much more fulfilling life than these wannabe jocks and rappers could ever hope for. You just keep being you and hang with those who value you for you. Did it ever occur to you that they're jealous of you?

It does not matter what people say. Go ahead and keep on studying. At the end you will be making big bucks while the rest of them will end up working in a fast food restaurant. You will succed. Just keep on going. And remember Jesus love's you. Put him in your life as well. God Bless.

Be the way you want to be. Be the person you aspire to be. If you try to be what someone else thinks is cool, you betray yourself. It may hurt to be called names, but who cares what a fool says. If you stick to your guns and keep your chin up, you've demonstrated courage. If you try to fit it at the expense of your own future and identity, you've buckled under pressure. Fools may ridicule you, but many other people (of undoubtedly higher quality) will admire you.

the best thing for you to remember is that they use to call BILL GATES a geek and he is a multi billionaire... yes multi yes Billionaire... Just remember that and you will move on and be a highly successful person regardless of what they call you know...
