I have the same problem my hair dresser said that some hair just doesn't like to go dark and therefore it doesn't hold the pigment and it just fades out really fast. He said it just like how some people can't dye their hair light colors and when they do it turns orange. It's really anoying but there dosen't seam to be much you can do about it. Sorry.

You are probably using a stripping shampoo that strips the color
out of you hair. What you need is a non stripping shampoo. Go to a salon, maybe you can get one at beauty supply outlet. I don't know if they have that in a drug store or not.

Are you using a semi-permanent or permanent color? You should look for a hair care line (shampoo, conditioner, etc.) specifically for dark hair. They are formulated to enrich your color. Good luck!

are you using a shampoo that's made for color treated hair? if not that's what it could be because regular shampoo is harsh on colored hair,,,,,try TRESEMME for color treated hair......there are others but this one is really good and try to lower the heat on your blow dryer,,that's helps too.

it depends on what color you are dying it. if you are dying it light. it is because your hair grows back dark. you hair wont stay dyed forever.

You probably wash it everyday or so don't you. Too much washing and too much sun.
