i agree, sometimes the scars are just way too much. but if you can find yourself looking at that person, or even thinking of them when you aren't together, and you smile, then you know theres still something there. if you can't bring yourself to be happy with that person you have to know when to say when. i'm setting my chicken soup aside for you, now you get my attention. so anyway, if you guys have sat down and discussed what's gone on in the past and worked through it but you still find yourself not exactley happy, move on. see, sometimes things happen, bad bad things, and you think you get over it but you find yourself later on thinking about it, or better yet, dwelling on those things. if thats the case it may be time for you to be alone. being alone is great because it gives you time to worry about you and no one else. that may be just what you need. and then of course, sometimes people just grow apart. you may have not changed one bit but you find yourself not being excited to be near that person. it's sad but it happens and it's important that you move on and(i hate to say this) not waste your time any longer. i hope that helps and best of luck to you.

When ever you see him, just think about all of the good times and moments you shared together to help you smile. It may be hard, but that is what life is all about. Good Luck!!!

Don't smile if it's fake! Don't be fake. If you don't want to smile at that someone, just don't. Pain must be worked through and not glossed over.

I assume you've broken up. When you see the person, force yourself see him as a regular, everday person. Make yourself say something so that they don't know how much you're still hurting. Then make some excuse and gracefully leave the vicinity. I hope this helps.

Learn to wiggle your ears, then get your cheeks pierced. You can run fishing line through the holes in your cheeks and attach the line to the tops of your ears. Every time you wiggle your ears, it will force you to smile!
