A gift card for $60 to Wal-Mart or Target makes sense -- that way, he can get either something from Electronics or Sporting Goods (or both) that he may have had on his mind but haven't said anything about it to anyone.
(My dad, who is VERY hard to shop for, gets this every year -- that way he won't return it, but gets what he wants!)

If he is single, get him a date. What I would do is arrange to give him a night out and watch your nephew. Us parents need a break every once in awhile and this is a great present.

At Wal-Mart for $20 you can pick up a mustache, beard, side burn, nose hair trimmer. I know it sounds lame, but my brother and my husband both loved theirs and use it all the time.
