All I can suggest is to wait a while, just a few days, and then take a home pregnancy test. That will give you your answers.
Don't stress until you KNOW there's something to stress about.
Good luck sweetie, and congratulations on your marriage!

How soon did you start on birth control before you got married? I was in your same situation but i had started birth control a month or two before i got married. I still to this day do not have a normal period i was told by the doctor that birth control can cause you to spot but not have a normal period. so i think if you are spotting you should be fine. Just for the record i have been married for 6 months and i still have not had a normal period.

Home pregnancy test are really accurate now days. I would take ahome pregnancy test see what that says and go from there. I don't know where you live but I know in Kentucky and Ohio there is a place called THE NEW HOPE CENTER. It's a place girls without insurance or with insurance can go and have free pregnancy test and if you are pregnant the people there help you find a doctor. See if you have any place like that in your away. Congrats on your marriage and GOOD LUCK with your problem you are having now.

If you just switched birth control medication, it is not unusual to have some disturbances in your cycle. Wait a little while and see. If you don't have your period in another week and a half or so, take a home pregnancy test. If it is negative, consult your doctor.

A lot of women have some form of bleeding after they have sex the first time.

Dont worry about it. Youre on birthcontrol. When you take the placebo pills you're still protected against pregnancy, they jsut allow enough of a break in the hormone levels for your body to bleed and cleanse itself.

You're fine.

If you were a virgin that could explain the spotting. Sometimes when a woman loses her virginity she will bleed a bit. It's not something to worry about.

Congratulations on your marriage!

Good luck.
