Why do Atheist/other groups want Christians to stop telling people there is a God?

What have Christians done in this American society that is positive?

Is it a fair assessment that Christians of ole who did murder in God’s name, mean that every Christian is a murderer?

Are people tolerant towards Christians or should Christians just be tolerant to everyone.

Christians have done tons of positive things! Christians aren't murders. At least true Christians aren't. I don't know how you mixed that up. One of the 10 Commandments is do not murder.

You can tell who ever you want that there is a God. What is annoying is that Christians expect me to respect their beliefs when they will not respect mine.

Christians have done much that is positive. Last time I checked, Dr. Martin Luther King was a Christian. He did a great deal of good.

It is rarely a fair assessment to state that every person in a group acts in the same way or believes the same thing.

People are tolerant towrds Christians. Christians are less tolerant towards others. In the US, everyone should be tolerant of everyone else. Alas, it doesn't work that way.

The Christianity of today is merely a shadow of what is to come. When we learn to live by the standards that Christ came and showed us, there really will be peace.
I have met a small number of people who represent (to me) what Christianity truly is, yet I believe these numbers are increasing all the time.
True Christians naturally set the example for us to live by.

As an aspiring "True Christian"
I don't know really know how tolerant I should be of certain things
until they occur.
The small still voice inside will guide if you will just listen.

The greatest things done in America by Christians are done in secret. Receiving recognition for a good deed 'here' is the reward while giving to someone or something in secret stores your reward in Heaven. Another cool thing about giving in secret is that the receiver goes around suspecting kindness in the people they know which potentially makes for other good things to occur. For me it is very hard not to tell someone of the 'kind' thing I did because I still want people's recognition. But if you are able to refrain from telling anyone;
something beautiful will happen inside of you:
You will begin to love yourself just a little bit more.

Let your focus be on Christ.

It all depend on the christian you speak to..Some are ALL tolerant and some are not..You have to remeber that the Bible is very contradicting..As far as being murderers ( I dont think that one should be judged by anothere persons actions). I dont know what christians have done to better our world..I have to admit I do know a few who are very generous..And as an atheist, I dont care if they shout it out on the top of a roof top (about their god)

You flunked out of high school, didn't you? Please, try and do a better job of articulating your arguments. They are incoherent, and make us christians look bad.
