You know my dad is a Police Officer (one of the nice ones) and he was shot in the line of duty 2 years ago. When he was shot, a lot of people that he had arrested before wrote letters to him saying things like, "Even though you arrested me you were always so nice to me and treated me with respect". That I think is the neatest thing. But then there are some officers who abuse their "power". This gives good cops bad names. I think that when a person starts to think of themselves as "better" that another person they start to treat people differently. Sometimes resulting in an ******. Some believe themselves to be more superior to others and treat them like a criminal. My husband is Russian. There is a point to this. But in the city of Spokane, WA the certain police officers here whoms name will not be mentioned are very racist. My husband has a very nice car that he built and the cops will pull him over and find something to give him a ticket for. Its ridiculous. But that is just how some people are and we have to deal with them. Or we can always go make a report on the officer. Which is what we have done. Sorry about your misfortune and good luck!

You can take a look back to your childhood If you think of the play grounds for a moment were some of the children quiet and calm just going along with the flow were some always looking for someone to pick on intimidate degrade they seemed to enjoy making others feel powerless those same kids at were treated the way they act on the play ground they than watch more abnormal behavior of people playing parts in movies and on TV it's these parts they see that they will one day get to mimic and it close to what they already are enjoying the mean cop he has the power to do say and get away with what ever makes his day my point is police are hired to serve and protect our communities but many years of intimidation and bullying has changed the environment some of them freely abusing there power for there own sick mean and unsociable ways I must say I is better now then it was when I was growing up because they have been exposed and complaints filed against them are being looked into give them respect and file a complaint if you are treated wrongly

I'm not a cop, but the feeling I get is that they get an "us versus them" kind of mentality. Where I live, about the best paying jobs are working for the city and county, and everyone else is kind of an also ran. And the police tend to deal with more of what I would call real crime, so they are a little less apt to think you are innocent than guilty. I just figure as a rule I'm better not dealing with them at all if I can help it. Nothing good happens to you dealing with the police. It's not like they'll pull you over to tell you that you are a good driver. Better off just acting like you think they are as great as they think they are and go on about your business.

Probably because they have penal size issues and or were abused children, and or bullied by other kids. They grow up thinking they want to be in a place where they can have some power. Most cops that are dinks are probably hung like a hamster with the balls of an ant, and they need to over compensate. I hate cops all but one.

You're right, not all cops are bad and to expand on that thought I would say "most" are not! However, you always have bad apples in every basket. I suspect these "robocops" are the one's that got the crap beat out of them daily in school and now feel protected behind their badge. And then some are just outright dirt bags that some how scammed the system and got in until they are discovered and booted out!

If you were pulled over, and spoke like you write, then you had a communication problem. I would guess that it was you, who were giving them the problem, because you SAID SOMETHING back, and were threaten with arrest. They were doing their Job. Just answer their questions, and do not give them YOUR Attitude. They have a tough and dangerous Job, and do not need You to make it worst. If you have a complaint, then make it to their Superiors later.

I maximum actual think of that maximum law enforcement officers abuse their means. They use intimidation to flee with civil rights abuses. They consistently say that they cope with you the way you cope with them. yet we could take a check out that assertion for a 2d. that's the law enforcement officers not the civilian that starts the interplay. So, i ask your self, is the civilians treating the law enforcement officers the comparable way by way of fact the law enforcement officers dealt with them or are we to blindly agree that the police are consistently respectful whilst they attitude somebody. unclear at suited. and don't provide me this they cope with scumbags all day bull Sh1t. every physique merits appreciate, we are harmless till shown accountable in the court docket of regulation.

it's all over. they pulled my old man over 2 weeks ago because a truck pulled in front of him. the state trooper said my husband was to close, and didn't use his signal. go figure. i was thinking when does a car driver have to use there signals for a truck pulling in front of them.

I have had the same problem before. One time they thought I was drinking and I had not had anything. So they gave me a blow test and I fooled them. I hate when they turn their lights and sirens on just to go through a red light or traffic and then when they get through they just cruise at normal speed.

First off, you jackass, you don't talk back to a cop. That's just plain stupid.
Secondly, nobody gets pulled over for "no reason". Maybe you were speeding. Maybe you were weaving. Maybe you're just ugly. Who knows.
Sounds to me like you screwed up and want to blame someone else for it.
